WHAT IS THE LIGHT HUG®?
The Light Hug® is our signature inside shelf, designed to gently hug your body without wires, padding, or compression. It offers coverage—not lift—so you can feel free, comfortable, and unbound.

WHY DOES JJWINKS DESIGN CLOTHING TO BE BRA-FREE?
Because comfort shouldn't come at the expense of confidence. We believe women deserve clothing that supports them naturally—without wires, hardware, or pressure.

WHY DOES JJWINKS DESIGN FOR SLEEP FIRST? We believe the most honest test of comfort is sleep. If something is comfortable enough to rest in, it's often comfortable enough to live in. Our designs start with softness, breathability, and ease—then allow women to decide how they wear them beyond the bedroom.

WHAT ARE YOUR FABRICS MADE OF? Our signature fabric is a buttery-soft TENCEL™ Modal and spandex blend, 95% modal / 5% spandex], made from sustainably sourced beech trees and milled and sewn in Los Angeles.

HOW DO YOUR SIZES RUN?
Our styles generally run true to size. Because modal naturally relaxes after washing, we recommend sizing down if you're between sizes.

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY JJS?
Wash in a mesh bag on a cold machine cycle and tumble dry on low heat. Avoid hanging tops or nightgowns by their straps.

WHERE ARE JJS MADE?
Our JJs are proudly made in Los Angeles, California, using locally produced fabric.

HOW MUCH SUPPORT DOES THE LIGHT HUG® GIVE?
Light support, by design. The Light Hug® is a soft, wire-free layer built right inside our tops and nightgowns. It gently holds and covers you, so you can skip the bra while you sleep, lounge, run errands or host houseguests. It won’t lift like an underwire. It just keeps you comfortable, covered and confident.

WILL THE LIGHT HUG® WORK FOR MY BUST SIZE?
The Light Hug® is designed for A–DD cups. Plenty of customers with fuller busts love it too. Just remember it’s light support made for comfort, not the lift of a structured bra.

HOW IS THE LIGHT HUG® DIFFERENT FROM A BRALETTE?
In our tops and nightgowns, the Light Hug® is sewn right in, so there’s nothing extra to put on: no bands, no clasps, and nothing digging in while you sleep. And if you love that feeling under your own clothes, meet our Light Hug® Bralette. So many of you asked for the inner layer on its own that we made it, with the same soft, wire-free light support you can wear under anything.

WILL PEOPLE BE ABLE TO TELL I AM NOT WEARING A BRA?
Most won’t. Front shirring and layered fabric give discreet nipple coverage, and our modal is soft but never sheer.

CAN I WEAR JJwinks OUT OF THE HOUSE?
Absolutely. Everything is designed for sleep first, then made polished enough for coffee runs, travel days, Zoom calls and happy hour. 

HOW LONG DOES SHIPPING TAKE?
Orders ship within 1–3 business days. Standard shipping is free on mainland US orders of $200 or more, and a flat $12 under $200. Expedited shipping is available at checkout. Order by 11am EST and it ships the same day.

DO YOU SHIP TO ALASKA, HAWAII AND INTERNATIONALLY?
Yes. Alaska and Hawaii orders ship via Priority Mail, and international shipping is calculated at checkout.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY?
Unworn, unwashed items with tags attached may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of delivery. Final sale items are not eligible for return.

Purchases made October 11 through December 24, 2026 are eligible for return or exchange through January 31, 2027. All standard JJwinks return conditions and exclusions apply.

International orders must be returned at the customer's expense. Please refer to our Shipping Policies page for full details.  Alaska and Hawaii orders ship via Priority Mail, and international shipping is calculated at checkout.

ARE JJwinks GOOD GIFTS?
They’re our most-gifted pieces of the year. Holiday purchases made October 11 – December 24 can be returned or exchanged through January 31, 2027, so the fit doesn’t have to be a guess.
